North Carolina has been my home for 28 years, and for the past six years I’ve been fortunate to live full-time in Carolina Beach. After a rewarding 30+ year career as a Corporate Controller for a multinational consumer goods company, I chose to “retire” and explore new opportunities where I could give back more directly.

That journey led my wife, Kim, and me to become the proud owners of Island Accounting and Tax (ATAX – Masonboro Commons). Alongside running our business, I’ve dedicated time to serving on the Carolina Beach Centennial Committee, acting as CFO for both the Carolina Beach Mural Project and the Carolina Beach Police Foundation, and being an active member of the Island Men.

Carolina Beach isn’t just where we live — it’s a community we care deeply about. I’m committed to helping it grow stronger, preserve its beauty, and continue to be a place we’re all proud to call home.
